This open air machinery museum extends for about 600 metres alongside the Landsborough Highway as it passes through the town of Ilfracombe, Queensland. It boasted an interesting collection of old trucks, heavy machinery, and agricultural equipment, including several mobile steam engines. It's well worth visiting if you happen to be in the area.
The outdoor setting is perhaps not ideal for the long term preservation of the machinery, but it made it easy to photograph. I visited on September 30 and October 1, 2014, by which time it was already a bit too hot for my liking. Winter would be the best time to visit.
